"Great place ruined by penny-pinching. Look, I get some of the cost-savings…. although the very annoying machine-checkin, while 2 staff members stand right next to it is just pointless, people want to check-in/out to a human, not a screen…. But I then overheard a tech say the following. The air cond is deliberately turned off at 11am, 6pm and 2am. It turns itself off in every room. UK buildings like this are often really hot, 10 degrees more than outside as they have been designed to keep...

"Great location! So convenient. The comfy bed & shower facilities were outstanding. The room is small but efficient. It did take us time to work out the high-tech iPad that controls everything. We’re older. But once we got help with it, it became easy. Breakfast has a good assortment. We liked it very much & we had an outstanding view of the Tower of London!"

"Enjoyed the stay at the hotel although I think we must have had the room furthest away from the lifts. Still it was manageable and this room had a walk in shower which is better for us. The location is great as our preferred mode of transport is the bus and there are stops both directions just outside the hotel. This weekend was a bit of a disruption as road works closed some of the bus stops. All in all a most enjoyable stay."

The reception staff were all really friendly and helpful, even offered to let us extend our departure from 12:00 until 1:00. We would definitely stay again when having time in London again."

"The hotel was nice in a great location. However check-in was not great. I realize we arrived early. So we left our bags and came back a few hours later. Our room was still not ready and when I asked about an estimate, they said they had no idea. The room was clean and suited our needs. "We had a fantastic stay! Our room was perfect, the staff were lovely and the customer service was top notch. Breakfast was fab, we especially loved the scrambled eggs. My only negative was the Air Con. We were very lucky to be blessed with some beautiful weather during our stay but the heat in the room was unbearable and we both struggled to sleep. We could hardly feel the Air Con and it definitely did not help to cool our room down. If this was sorted then it would of been a 5* stay. Thank you...
