"We recently stayed at Villa Lilia in Brienno, Lake Como. All reviews of the villa are totally correct! My wife and I were able to stay four wonderful nights. All the pictures in the listing at true and accurate. Lovely place with fabulous views looking across the lake at Nesso (from the bedroom balcony). "We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine."

We are elderly and unfortunately my wife picked up Covid on the flight,.and I tested positive a week later. We spent most of our holiday sel-fisolating.. "We spent very nice vacation days at Lake Como. The apartment is located in a house built into the mountain. Therefore, you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but then you are rewarded by a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. We felt very comfortable."

"It was so good. Nice view,close to como , just you don’t need to have a lot of bags for arriving and leaving you need to walk 7 minutes uphill or you need car. Bus station 10c very close. We had relaxed times. We like it ."

A bit of a hike from the road - up a number of cobbled steps... but, I am 60 years old and could manage it easily enough - 'though not as quickly as my 21 year old son - but we wouldn't get the beautiful views from the terrace without the short up-hill hike - so well worth it IMO.
