"Awesome hostel and super cheap! The only down side I had was that the bed was a little bit small and the space in the toilets was a bit tight. I'm quite a tall guy though. Otherwise it was a super clean hostel with really friendly staff. For the price I paid I was pleasantly surprised."

"The place is clean, the bedrooms are spacious, the common rooms are cozy, the showers are high pressure, and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint is that the house dog situation was, for the time that I was there, a little concerning. They were quite vocal and unfriendly for the most part, apparently because they were in heat. I believe the staff when they say it's not always like that. But overall I greatly enjoyed Guest House Matsu so much that I kept wanting to spend time there...

"It was hard to get a goodnight sleep, people were very loud which at this point I had stayed in four hotels traveling all around Japan, besides that there were no amenities included which every other hotel offered. I had to pay 200 yen for just a towel. It’s located in a nice area.
