"The property is a little bit away from the train station and up the hill, but shuttle is provided between 1 and 5 pm every day for pickup. We arrived later, and decided to walk despite being given the option to have them pick us up by request. Checkin was simple and straightforward, we were given instructions on paper and in English. "This is a very luxurious hotel with a nice onsen. Beautiful gardens and incredible view of Mt Fuji if you are on the garden side which I think on the rooms are facing the garden and lake. Nice paths through the trees to the shrine and “downtown” area but don’t plan a run, it’s made of cobblestone type bricks so your ankles would suffer. Shuttle to/from downtown every 20 minutes if you don’t want to walk. "
