"Its a very quiet, beautiful spot close to stations to travel to hakone and the baths were lovely! Its nice to walk around the area. The man running the hotel spoke english pretty well, my non japanese speaking friend had no issues at all. The bedding is futons and it was more comfortable then the hotel we previously stayed at and was perfect for our single night stay"

The futon weren't as thick as some other places, but we had spares, so we gave ourselves another layer. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast, with attentive service.
