"Perfect location for easy access to the Ueno train station which will get you anywhere in Tokyo. Seemed less touristy which was perfect if you’ve never been to a busy city before. The hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed at, would certainly return."

"Had a good night sleep and enjoyable stay at this property. Rooms are clean and quiet, althoug a bit older and quite small. Which is to be expected in Tokyo. Do not be swayed by the location or the presence of love hotels in the area. These are reputable esablishments. There are many great hidden dining gems in the area. The supermarket below has a fantastic selection of alcohol at great prices. "

"This was a perfect property with great subway connections around the city. The room was very clean, staff extremely friendly and an efficient check-in/out process. 1 street away from an abdunace of food options. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"If you need a satisfactory hotel near Ueno Station, this does the job. Across the street from the Asakusa Gate. The area around the station on this side is nothing special, but you can easily get to other parts of Tokyo from here and it is convenient to Narita via the Skyliner. While everything in the hotel worked, everything also felt a little below par. Our room was small and unlike the other three hotels on this trip had no "eco-friendly" cleaning option. The hotel breakfast was OK, but...

"The hotel was in an excellent location, lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets & the entrance to the temple was just across the road. Breakfast was lovely and staff very attentive. "

"Small room but everything was just clean. We slept well despite having a family of 5 in cramped space. Kitchen was well furnished. All-in-one W/D works but took a long time for one load. Front desk was courteous and helpful. Building felt secured and convenient to JR. Would stay again."
