The birds and lizards are super cool too see and hear as you eat the breakfast made by the onsite chef and brought to your villa in the morning. 「Clean, comfortable, very quiet—a great place to recharge. Staff is super helpful. Most beach or tourist activities are a 15-25 min drive, which was a little more driving than I anticipated. The (wonderful, life-saving) air conditioning also had some kind of automatic shut off in the middle of the night, which doesn’t work out very well for perimenopausal women from cold climates.」

「The room was nice and the maid service was amazing. But the last week we were there I stepped on glass in the pool. And it was tons of small shards. Which caused excruciating pain. We removed what we could but I just spent 4 hours having tons of pieces picked from my foot. 「The house is absolutely perfect. Huge rooms, each 1 with its own bath. The design is stunning, the location is even better, my niece and nephew and the rest of the family loved the lush foliage and wildlife that paid us a daily visit: iguanas and spider monkeys and different birds.
