「Such a quiet spot. Far enough away from everyone but close enough to get something from town if you need. Only real complaint is that the bed is very very firm. Even though that is a matter of preference, I've stayed alot of places and never had a bed that firm. That is the only reason i cant give 5 stars.」

The views of Lake Superior are spectacular and being able to hear the water on the shore all night long makes for excellent sleeping. 「We had the opportunity to stay in this home while visiting our son, a student at UMD, over President's Day weekend. The home was had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and get time to ourselves when needed and space to gather together to hang out and eat. 「I received a message with check in instructions in advance and a phone number if i had any problems. The property was clean and welcoming. It was quiet at night for sleeping despite being on the Main Street through town. The bathroom has been recently remodeled and is nice. I would stay here again. It’s small and cozy, but clean and comfortable. 」

「Communication was excellent with owner. The pool was alot of fun. The house was very clean. 2 fridges were awesome. Lots of bathrooms! The reason i did not give it a 5 is the living room sits 6 with very uncomfortable furniture and the dining room sits 6 with higher chairs, not good for kids and many of the beds were very warped and old. The weekend we were there it snowed and snowed. Lovely but no one came to shovel us out so bring your own shovels (and chairs)」

As other reviews have mentioned, the photos are true to the physical attributes of the rental. All of the bedrooms are on the second level. 「The cabin was better than the listing! Kitchen is huge, with an amazing amount of cabinet and counter space. Love the island, and up to date appliances!! Lots of living space.
