Whether preparing for a trip into the BWCAW, or just wanting to experience Ely, this two bed cottage will offer you clean and comfy lodging. We have two rooms with 2 bedrooms each. They have one queen per room.

We are within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping- the Ely DQ is right next door and your unit come with a free treat.

This unit is part of the former Lakeland Motel and is on Sheridan Street.

Great location in the heart of Ely
It was great to spread out a bit in the 2 bedroom cabin. Comfortable bed, Roku tv, warm shower. Great location!

Good Stay
Very comfortable beds, great wifi and right in town. Close to the main street so car and truck noise can occasionally be heard, but it did not keep me awake. Note, that as advertised, there is a microwave, kettle and small coffee maker (filters and coffee provided), but little shelf space. There are only mugs, no cutlery or bowls, so come prepared if planning to eat breakfast or other small meals.

Perfect for us. Charming is a good description. It appears to have been recently remodeled. Very clean. Note: as the description details; only a microwave & coffee pot as cooking equipment.

DOUBLE BOOKED AND SCREWED
We booked a stay downtown for the weekend in Ely. We arrive and they had double booked us. We brought our side by side to do some riding over the weekend, and be able to walk for dinner and drinks and such. So they gave us our only option to stay at a cabin in the woods 10 minutes away. This changed our whole weekend plans. Now we would have to trailer into town, cannot walk for dinner, cannot have drinks, find parking for our trailer, it was a nightmare and not at all what we had planned for. The cabin was nice that they put us in, but you couldn’t lock the sliding door so we had to put our valuables in our vehicle daily. When we arrived after a day of riding Friday night back at the cabin, the power was out. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone, tried to find the breaker box and check everything. It was hiding behind a picture. Couldn’t shower. Couldn’t see to make dinner, no flashlights, candle that was all the way burnt down. So we basically just had to go to bed. No playing cards and having a few beers since we couldn’t all day because we had to drive. It was just issue after issue and the property manager/owner doesn’t seem to think as a customer we should be compensated at all for ruining our weekend and changing it all for us because they gave us a place to stay! Like I said the place was nice but the overall experience was terrible. Would not recommend these people because if there’s an issue you will not be taken care of in a proper manner.

Perfect basecamp
Just like the title, a perfect basecamp. Stayed there at night, walked to local restaurants and bars at night for food and entertainment. During the day trailered the boat to one of the many fantastic nearby fishing lakes (Burntside, Little Long, White Iron, Bear Head). When done fishing, parked the boat in their parking lot...rinse and repeat. Yes, staying on a lake would be nice, but here you get your choice of lakes, lots of evening options, and at a cheaper price. In short, definitely worth a stay.

Wonderful experience
The place was located on one of Ely’s Main Streets making it very easy to find. Yet it’s quiet in the cabin that you do not hear the outside street noise. Two weeks before our stay our dog sitter fell through and I reached out to see if it was a pet friendly cabin which it was. It was a very easy process to set that up and the property manager was helpful and friendly.

Comfortable & Convenient
This is a very basic cabin and was clean and comfortable. It used to be a motel and is on the main street next to the Dairy Queen and just down the road from Zups grocery. Don't expect anything fancy - just a good bed, nice shower, easy access, microwave, small frig, and somewhat slow internet - but just the place needed for a home base to explore the area.

It was very clean and cozy. They even have a fan in case you need one! It was a very warm day when we arrived and they already had the air on and the cabin was nice and cool.

Ely charm 2 bedroom cottage
This was my first time using VRBO and I couldn’t be more pleased with how easy and friendly our host made our visit. The cottage was exactly as described. And our host made sure we were welcome and comfortable. I will definitely try to stay there again next time I’m in Ely.

A great spot to stay close to everything in Ely. Nice area to walk around with many food choices and friendly people in the neighbourhood. Accommodations were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Owners and staff were responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and cozy
I enjoyed my time in the little cabin retreat in Ely. It was clean and cozy, and the host and property manager were both responsive and helpful. The location is great for accessing town or the great outdoors. My dogs and I were quite pleased with our visit.
