「Great location within the old city and close to all amenities and train station. The property had lots of character. Nice and quiet. Courtyard very pleasant and an added bonus. Lots of space and clean and functional. The one negative point is a very steep staircase and not easy to get up and down particularly with suitcase. Also could do with a more comfortable sofa Had a lovely holiday and Lucca is beautiful. Will be back」

Damiano es un gran anfitrión, que da todas las instrucciones necesarias y con quien es fácil comunicarse en caso de necesidad. . Absolutamente recomendable para visitar Lucca, Pisa y alrededores. La única pena es haber viajado en invierno y no haber podido disfrutar de su terraza privada, que en verano debe ser espectacular.」

We felt at home right away. The appartment is perfect to explore Lucca in all it’s beauty. Everything is in walking distance (grocery shop, backery, the city walls, train station). Lucca is the perfect starting point to explore Tuscany‘s famous cities (like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra or...

「Great location - on main thoroughfare and handy to everything. Property will be much better when it is fully finished and fitted out. No wardrobes in any of the four bedrooms. Two rooms had no electric lights, and two or three of the bedrooms only had bedside lamps. No microwave (not essential). Many of the multitude of power points aren't connected to anything. Lounge areas only had a sofa and no side tables. Ikea dining chairs quite uncomfortable. Both bathroom basins only provide a trickle...

「Residenza al Pavone is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Lucca. Know before you go - there is a climb of 70 steps inside the pallazzo to get to the main level of the apartment. Once there it is a great oasis, with an outstanding terrace, well-appointed kitchen, three bathrooms and two bedrooms. There is some street noise that is heard in the second bedroom. The occasional party n the interior courtyard allows noise in the main bedroom. This is all part of the ambiance of historic Lucca!...

The communication with the host was excellent and they were very responsive when our hairdryer went on the blink; We had a replacement in several hours. Unit was represented as having a/c, but only bedrooms have, it was not an issue during our stay, but could be in hot weather. Lots of storage, comfortable bed. To summarize it afforded the fantasy of having your place in beautiful Lucca.」
