"During our short stay we were able to visit Volcanoes National Park, the Green Sand Beach close to South Point, go night snorkeling with Manta Rays in Kona, visit several beaches, and even drive up Mauna Kea on our last day in Big Island (night flight) - we could not have achieved this and more without staying in such a perfectly placed location, one with unique landscape on its doorstep (the local history of lava flows was truly fascinating). "This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. "My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon!"

"I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. "It is charming in a rustic way. It was smaller than we thought and the only heat in the living room and kitchen was a wood burning stove so we spent a lot of time and energy trying to stay warm. The first 2 days there was no live TV but a new spectrum box was brought in. Theresa, the property manager was very accommodating."

"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."
