「We love this place. Close to walk to town but off the beaten path. Great parking. This is our 2nd visit. 」

「Perfect place to explore Carmel. Quaint but still enough space for the 4 of us. Loved being able to hear ocean sounds from back deck. Beds were comfortable. Beach is lovely.」

「Highly recommend the attic suite. The stairs are a little narrow but it’s well worth it once you get to the top floor. Would absolutely stay here again. 」

「Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again.」

「We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.」

「Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room.
