"Beautiful, uniquely designed cabin amid lush rainforest plantings. We especially enjoyed the deck to hang out on ( even in frequent showers). And neighborhood pheasants were a particular pleasure! Quiet and peaceful base for Kona explorations."

"We love this home! It truly is a water-lover’s paradise. You cannot really get a better location, on Ali’i drive but just south of the most busy areas. Lots of nearby surfing and snorkeling. Next to a preserve filled will birds, plants and wildlife. Amazing grocery and food options at Keahou shopping center just a few minutes away, and local spots for poke and a mini mart within walking distance. It’s worth it just for the view from the lanai, which looks directly into an undeveloped woodland...

"Lovely place to stay. 1 really tall bed was an adventure to jump into but was fun being so high up off of the ground. The home was really clean and it was a really nice touch with the gift pack. The balcony is really lovely spot early mornings and evenings to chill out on too. "

"It was a nice condo. Relaxing and spacious for family of 6. Everything was functional. The steep road to the condo was a surprise, but manageable. Short walk to pebble beach, with perfect sunset and a small trail along the shore. Only we didn't expect that much mosquitos in Feb. "

"This cottage was just want we wanted, a quiet retreat in a rainforest. You could hear birds in the trees all day and frogs at night. We loved hanging out on the covered deck which was nice when it was raining. The hosts had everything we needed, lists of gear for kids and the beach. We will definitely be back with our kid sometime. Hosts were super helpful when google maps gave us incorrect directions."

"During our short stay we were able to visit Volcanoes National Park, the Green Sand Beach close to South Point, go night snorkeling with Manta Rays in Kona, visit several beaches, and even drive up Mauna Kea on our last day in Big Island (night flight) - we could not have achieved this and more without staying in such a perfectly placed location, one with unique landscape on its doorstep (the local history of lava flows was truly fascinating). "Everything was clean and the host is very nice. They did give away my yurt that slept 4 and put me in one that slept 2. Considering I had 3 in my party, it was a bit inconvenient. But the host helped us with a blow up mattress."
