Grand whitestone Oamaru hotel in good renovated condition. Large very clean Victorian bedroom with modern bathroom. We had dinner and drinks in the bar and dining room. The friendly barman doubled as the waiter and went out of his way to make our evening special.....thanks

When we first got there they said the key was in the door which isn’t very safe, then next minute they have lost the key and it takes them 10-15 to find us a key while we just stand around and wait. Wonderful historic building that was once a girl's boarding school. Very quiet location with great walking areas on the property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious chocolates also made on the property. Would highly recommend.
