Thankfully we spent Midsommer with family in Umea, as most everything was closed - including the hotel's dining room. We did have a lovely breakfast buffet at the hotel.

I actually liked it better than Stockholm because Although I enjoy big cities I like the pace of living in Umeå better. You can walk, hop on a bus, get excellent food, see the pretty areas. One does need good blackout curtains to sleep at this time o
