The staff was very friendly and the ambience was nice. However, the room was very cramped and had to be careful not to fall over columns and bed on the way to the bathroom. Walls were thin and there was no facial soap provided.

Don't be fooled by prices shown on Expedia, we had to pay USD 50 per night as facilities charges extra at hotel, which is complete rip off. All you get is couple of bottles of water and soda left in your room for that money. The things that you are given for free In Europe hotels. Apart from that, tiny room with no city views, tiny bathroom, no space to store clothes if you unpack your bags.

This hotel is in a good location for those visiting the city. I saw The Late Show at the Ed Sullivan theater and that was close by. The hotel was in rough shape. There was a dumpster out front for trash from renovations, that was off putting. The condition was clearly dated. A once beautiful building is now pretty run down. The room was in rough shape, the carpet was stained, the entertainment center was really weathered and had fresh sticky paint. There was a loose wire sticking out of the air conditioning unit. The fridge furniture door was broken and leaning down and open. The curtains were worn. The shower curtain had tears. The shower head was busted and leaked everywhere. The faucet handles hit the wall when you turned them. The toilet paper was sand paper doubling as toilet paper. I was pretty bummed for the price. I won't stay here again. The staff was pretty good. They were obviously employees who had been there for a very long time. Some were clearly jaded and the bartenders in particular were unwelcoming. The food was pretty bad, I do not recommend at all. If you're desperate order something. Overall, barely average. Would not recommend until they address the above.

Well located, new and not too big hotel. So was great for a business trip. Easy access to places to eat and sights in midtown. I'd recommend the basement bar on site, very good will excellent drinks and staff - Seed Library. Only issue was the check-in. I had done this online but when I arrived $400 was requested from my account which wasnt mention in the process or by the person on reception. Making that clearer would be helpful. Also something to make a hot drink in the room would have been appreciated.

Great locations. That is the dirtiest room I have stayed in in quite some time. The location was great and the room was adequate for a night.

Was there for four days the air condition broke and they would not fix the issue. They sent up staff to see if they could help the room got up to 80 degrees. It was a miserable sleep environment.
