Clean and centrally located hotel, yet quiet for a good night's sleep. Would stay again. The only thing I missed was a tea kettle, but no big deal.

Great hotel, no parking, terrible front desk staff. Got there at 1am after a whole day of driving, to leave at 6am, the front desk person was horrible, didn’t give us the welcome gift/points Marriott Platinum Elite members are to receive when booking a room. We had mistakenly booked for two (as it was our default setting) but my 12 yo daughter was with us, so it took a lot of talking, listening to the front desk clerk telling us that we were breaking the law, being scolded, etc to finally find a room for 3 that seemingly became available out of nowhere and charged us much more for it than the room for two. The clerk was supposed to give us a free upgrade if available because of our Marriott Bonvoy status. When asked about it, he said there was none available, yet he somehow found an upgraded bedroom to accommodate the three of us, but charged us a hefty fee for it. All this with the proper condescension one would expect at a 4 Star hotel.

Very nice hotel overlooking the Guggenheim Museum. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was excellent highly recommend it. Suggest to call the hotel to have a better understanding of where the room is located if it is your first time as some rooms are not part of the palace. Staff was excellent and it being our first time in Getxo/Bilbao, they were very helpful and informative with great recommendations for sightseeing, shopping & dining.
