Excellent location, clean rooms, amazing staff.

The hotel is decent for short trips and exploring the city. I was a bit disappointed with the amenities in the room, the beds were two singles made up as singles and put together with a large uncomfortable gap in the middle. Bed wasn’t made up as a double bed, the pillows were flat and lumpy like they hadn’t been replaced for ages. TV was pretty dated and really far from the bed. Overall I just thought the details of the hotel and room were a bit lacking especially for a 4 star hotel. I though the impression of the room was “that’s fine” and they didn’t really pay any attention to the finer details. Tea and coffee selection in the room was quite limited and looked really cheap, only sachet milk as well. The staff were really nice and the rooms were clean and functional for what I needed but I wasn’t that impressed.

The hotel is in an amazing location right next to Brandenburg gate. You can feel the history throughout the building. However, rooms need and upgrade, tiny fridges, not many minibar or snack items, very small shower for a deluxe room. Also, despite there being many available tables, the constant waiting at breakfast does not help.

Everything here was first class, from the wonderful doormen to the food, rooms and facilities. It was our first ever stay at a Ritz and we will be telling everyone how amazing it was for a long time to come. It is also in a brilliant location for exploring Berlin and getting to/from the airport by public transport. We will most definitely be back.

Rooms were so quiet.

Clean and spacious rooms, though the lighting could be improved — our room felt a bit too dark, not sure if that is intentional or that it is the style of the building. The facility is great and has a welcoming atmosphere. Food at the bar was delicious. It’s within walking distance of most places, about 15 minutes from the central hub, but we didn’t find that inconvenient.
