Very efficient and friendly staff plus great food

Our 6 night stay on Beachcomber Island was perfect. Lovely beach front Bure and fantastic weather. The upgraded facilities and new pool are excellent. I called this our sand Island. Dining breakfast and lunch buffets undercover from hot sun is on sand however there is a new open deck under umbrellas and perfect for dinner under the stars. All the food was nice with different choices. Everyday day trippers come and they have a full itinerary to fill the day. Lots to do for everyone snorkeling Cloud 9 Kokoda demonstrations turtle viewing on the island Or relaxing under umbrellas on a sun lounge. Friendly staff who make you welcome. There is still construction going on however it didn’t bother us. The free wifi is very good

For families, but also couples, groups a perfect get-away. A 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, but gives a good view of the land. Resort spacious and lots of extra facilities to stay on the resort for 5 days. But also options to visit surrounding by taxi, van or bus. All inclusive a blessing with kids in the peak season. But without kids, I would have chosen to order from the menu. They are working on a extension of the beach. Not great for beachlife at this moment, but taking the kayak out is also lots of fun. Swimmingpool is great!

Good breakfast and pool for kids.

Breakfast is included which was a huge array of different foods and you could bring small Tupperware to take some “extras to-go” to munch on later! ;) The water snakes are NOT poisonous. Staff is great and helpful. There was an adult pool tha seemed more for Seniors. The main pool was nice, even with the week-behaved kids for the adults to hang out at with the swim up bar. The hibachi restaurant is awesome and so is the one on the little island for seafood! Make sure you make reservations in advance for the dinner! The waterfall close by is closed so I highly recommend you do the RIVER TUBING where they take you to a huge waterfall about an hour away from the hotel!!!! (Ask the hotel staff that scheduled events - brochure pic is included in my review) They have a salon and do an amazing job for hair services. They washed and braided my hair for a reasonable amount. The braiding here is exceptional! They use very good quality products and the braiding was FAST! Make sure to book with them! :) Book your travel to/from the airport in advance. We took the bus for $15 Fiji $ but took almost 3hrs with the bus stops.

Good breakfast and pool for kids.

Great property and great service too. Everything was amazing here including the food, amenities and services. The only drawback is its away from the city centre so if you want to visit the town its a bit of hassle.

This was our second visit and we love everyting about castaway. The staff are what make this place special, from the Team at the kids club to the chef that cooked my daughters fish for lunch after a fishing trip. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay during the Easter break. The place is a paradise!! Thanks you Serenity for your fantastic service! A big thank you to everyone for looking after us during the cyclone. We WILL be back again!

We had an incredible stay at Vatu Vonu. The accommodation was beautiful and the view exceeded our expectations. Seni and Waqa, along with their daughter JJ, went above and beyond to take care of us. From their warm welcome to the delicious meals they prepared, we felt so well looked after throughout our stay. Their kindness and genuine care made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!
