Cascais Coast Romantic Vacations

Our room was beautiful and very spacious, with a partial view on the ocean which was beautiful, stall was nice and breakfast very complete and good. Pool area wonderful and relaxing. Loved everoanpit that relaxing place.

I tried to be neutral when I review my vacation stays. Honestly, I wasn’t very impressed with this place. It started with us driving to the resort in our car and first thing the gate guy asked us was “what do you want?” I was taken back by this attitude even after we signaled we were guess in this hotel. Then he gave us a look that seemed to indicate we didn’t belong in this type of hotel. I brushed it off. But when we got to the reception office and I wanted to ask about golf amenities, the reception girl looked at me like why would I even ask about this. LOL! She even looked at the other reception girl and smirked when I asked for a map and asked her to show me driving ranges. This is when I had enough of this place! The discrimination was strong in these people! I never experienced this in other places I’ve stayed in Portugal. And I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels more luxurious than this one. The buffet was okay. We noticed the food was a bit more bland than we’re used to in Portugal. The potatoes fell apart, and the sausages looked so grey. LOL! The AC didn’t work well, Our room was luke warm when we entered our room after a long day out. I had to open all the windows in our “resort view” of parking garage. They didn’t even have the World Cup playing in the lobby. LOL! We had to ask for World Cup to be played. Anyways, not impressed and would stay in other places in Cascais! The city itself, Cascais was lovely! Beach was so beautiful and we ate in different restaurants
