Western Iceland Pet-friendly Vacations

Loved the spaciousness of the loft suites, was a great place to have our friends over for drinks before going out. With the cost of drinks in Iceland, well worth the upgrade. Location was fantastic for restaurants and bars, very short walks, yet quiet due to being slightly off the Main Street. Breakfast was also really nice (though the bacon was geared towards the Americans - streaky and crispy). Old harbour a 12 minute leisurely walk for boat trips. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great communication with the host, the property is clean. The location is walking distance to the main attractions in Reykjavik. Breakfast is brought in the fridge daily and at 8am we get the fresh bread bake from Sanholt! Excellent serbice from the reception.On our first day our power went out when we plugged in our power cord and the reception staff came to the apartment to get it fixed. Thank you - this is greatly appreciated.

Outstanding location, clean, well maintained. Parking was a challenge, but we used an indoor, very convenient parking garage right in back of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Reykjavík Saga. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient throughout my stay. They were also very accommodating with several room changes I requested for different reasons, which I greatly appreciated. My main disappointment was the breakfast offering. The restaurant only provides a buffet with no option to customize meals or order à la carte. I found this quite restrictive, especially at the price point. Some travelers prefer more flexibility, and I didn’t feel the breakfast provided good value. I chose to have breakfast at a nearby hotel, Hjá Joni, which offered à la carte options and a much more flexible dining experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel for its excellent location and service, though I believe the breakfast experience could be improved.
