Location is fine, but not very close to the city center as it is stated. Not convenient and close to the metro. It is a little bit hard to find. The shower room is too small and the shower water is not proper. Any way, one time deal.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms and hotel were clean however; no central air and shower was difficult to turn on. Hot water was scarce at times for showers.

The room was very clean, had great amenities, it was very small. The breakfast was great. I never saw a shuttle, we were sent a message that we could book an airport transfer, but it wasn't free and Uber was cheaper. The hotel isn't a far distance from things to see, we were able to walk to most places within 20 minutes. The staff was great, there were plenty of outlets in convenient places, and we enjoyed our stay, I wish I had upgraded to a bigger room size so that we would've had a place for our 2 large suitcases.

Unit was very large and clean. Has a washer and dryer and a great kitchen. Only possible issue is that no uber can go down the street. It is at the top of a slight hill, so you must be able to walk up and down a hill. Approx 3-5 minutes up the street from the Fado Museum. Tons of restaurants and markets. Walking distance to most popular places in Alfama. We hired a proper taxi from the airport and the Police wouldn’t let him drive down the street. It took a long time to get to the hotel due to that issue. Once we got there,Luis met us at the bottom of the street and helped with our luggage. Our unit had an outdoor terrace and tons of storage space if you need it. Once we got to the unit we had an amazing time. I highly recommend this property, but you should be able to be physically able to navigate the area by foot.

Great location; renovated historic building. The room was spacious and spotless. We enjoyed the free Porto wine and afternoon high tea with the delicious “pastel de mata.” The breakfast had a variety of fruit, pastries and hot items besides juices annd espresso and cappuccino. The staff was friendly and helpful.
