Gorgeous building right in the middle of downtown Reykjavik. Easy walking to everywhere. HARPA is just 5 minutes walk away. Grocery is about 8 to 10 min walk from the property.

Amazing location, next to the train station. Good coffee shops, restaurants & a small grocery store within minutes. Hop on hop off bus right outside hotel. Tivoli Gardens opposite. However, there was street noise from traffic. Room was very warm & because of street noise could not open windows at night. Hotel AC is only turned on in May. Buffet breakfast was good. Hotel is very dated & therefore felt tired & run down. All staff were polite professional & extremely helpful.

The room was clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. This was the most basic room as we were landing late in the day and were leaving first thing the next morning. It was nothing like any other airport hotel we've been to. Great experience overall.

The staff was courteous but mostly English speaking. Breakfast was delicious and lacked nothing for our group. The room was tired and worn out and we definitely expected more for the price. Location is very good; central, but also the rooms were quiet, never heard any noise from outside or inside.

Excellent breakfast. Downside of stay: staff on strike so room never cleaned.
