Our room was tiny and difficult to get to. Great location right at the train station but the next time we are in Oslo, we will stay at a neighboring hotel with larger rooms for the same price.

The outdoor of the hotel is very different from the indoor. Tje room we got had views to the next building and the quality of furniture looked too basic. The sheets and bed amazing. A bonus os the extra food they provide like a light dinner and breakfast.

I was charged to check in before 3pm. Is that normal? The room also smelled of cigarettes.

The hotel was excellent and served its purpose as a base for a few days. The overall hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. I want to single out the three staff who worked in the hotel bar on Sunday 5 July. The restaurant was closed. The bar was short staffed and the three people who were working went above and beyond. The bar was full due to the World Cup football match. Customers were lining up to come in, wanting food and drinks and a place to watch the game. The staff accommodated as many as they could. Offered food and drinks and dealt with the overwhelming number of customers, in a professional and friendly manner. I understand that they were short staffed but the two men and one woman didn’t get flustered or upset. They went above and beyond serving way more people than was expected and doing it with a smile on their face. While I am sorry I do not know their names, I hope management review the work roster and provide these people with an official acknowledgment of the work they performed. Thank you.

1. We tried beds in 3 different rooms and all were awful. Completely warn out with no support. 2. Asked concierge to recommend a kayak trip but didn't know anything about it. 3. All of the rooms and public spaces needed cleaning and updating. Broken trim on the internal stairs in the lobby. Really shabby. 3. Breakfast was absolutely great!

We booked the family room for 4 to stay with our 2 small children. This was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The room had two small twin-size beds and they converted a small sofa into a bed for the kids . The 3 beds took up most of the room. We did not have enough room to fit our bags in the room since we would not have been able to get to the beds. We had to leave our bags by the door (blocking the door) to have any room to get to the beds. In addition, the room was hot when we arrived and there was no A/C. It was very uncomfortable. I would never stay there again. I can't believe they can rent rooms like this. On a positive note, the breakfast was nice.
