Austria Wine Region Kid friendly Vacations

If you’re coming from the USA, be prepared: the A/C does not work properly and does not cool the room. The system is restricted, so you cannot lower the temperature beyond a certain point (around 23°C/19°C). There are no fans available, and there was no A/C maintenance staff who could come and check the problem. The heat in the room was unbearable. I even had to leave a note for the cleaning lady asking her NOT to remove my key card from the power switch, just so the A/C wouldn’t turn off while we were out. The hotel also provides virtually no bathroom amenities for guests. There was no shower cap or other basic toiletries or convenience items that you would normally expect a hotel to provide. Overall, it was a horrible and extremely uncomfortable experience, especially because of the heat. If you are used to hotels in the USA with properly functioning A/C and basic guest amenities, be prepared because this hotel may not meet those expectations. Also de Taxi to the Airport they were charging me 80 euros, but Uber with same car, was only 45 Euros.

The hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. I cannot recommend it enough. When I return to Vienna I will stay there.

Excellent location right in the heart of Vienna.

Hotel was excellent however no restaurant on an evening. Bar closed early too. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast amazing.

Lovely spot for a Vienna holiday. Host was amazing. Worked with us on arrival and departure. Location is perfect with loads of good food/drink in the neighborhood. 300m to the subway. Less than 1km to an amazing park. Apartment had everything we neeed. And AC! A rare find!

First, the staff was excellent. Conscientious. Helpful. Positive. Secondly, the hotel included a complimentary breakfast (w/ lattes). It was excellent. The location of the hotel is about a 20-minute walk north of city center. So depending on the situation, we often took Uber to go downtown. Also, there were a few excellent restaurants close to the hotel. So the site was out of the chaos of city center and enough restaurants nearby to make it work. I highly recommend this hotel.
