For a hotel that markets itself as business-friendly, I was quite surprised about a couple crucial things: the internet connection was slow and unstable. A couple important online meetings I had dropped because of this and it was highly frustrating. Also, for the day we checked out, I needed to take some other calls after checkout time. I was told by the staff that I had to pay €7 per hour to use the business area if I wasn’t staying overnight that night. I find this ridiculous, since the checkout time is at 11 am and only needed to work until 1pm, and I was a guest at the hotel the previous nights.

This is a great place to stay for a slightly longer stay when you don’t mind being out of the center of town. We primarily walked (30-60 min to most places) but the shuttle/bus stops were right outside the hotel and only took about 10- 20min to most stops. They have a lovely sauna/gym and their laundry facilites are very useful (although I would offer to please put in another dryer as well). The rooms were spacious and useful for our family of four and the kitchen was so helpful for breakfast in the morning. There’s a large supermarket just a couple min away. Overall, a great find and if we were staying longer than 3 nights in Amsterdam again, would definitely book!

Listen, this place right here...this is the place to be. I'm a big traveler and have stayed in dozens of hotels from The Ritz to La Quinta and this place topped them all - and this was my first time in Amsterdam. Absolutely unreal. Not only is it probably the best location in the city to see literally anything of interest, but the property itself is top notch. It has an incredible interior, it has an incredible bar (one of the best bars in Amsterdam, period). It has a beautiful courtyard and a restaurant with incredible food. And the rooms?? Yeah, imagine having the best shower ever and having perfectly temperature controlled with plenty of space in even the smallest rooms. But that's not even the best part - my Fiancé and I wanted to go out to eat so I insisted we converse with the concierge since the rest of the hotel was already 10/10, we must've gotten 5 recommendations for restaurants and tours from them and each one was off the charts. The first restaurant we went to greeted us and when we sat down...BOOM, glass of champagne at the restaurant COMPLIMENTS of the rosewood. Check in was easy, they took our bags, they called us Ubers and ever person there was friendly - I will seriously not stay anywhere else in Amsterdam when I return - there's no point - this place has everything you need. (Also shoutout to the concierge, Mara - sorry about the spelling - she totally rocks and they should pay her whatever she desires)

This hotel is one block from major museums and could not be more central. Staff was extremely helpful to aid in getting from train station to the hotel.

Everything about this property is unique and next level. Right away the staff was great and got us acquainted with our room and gave us a small tour of the property. Nicknamed the garden room, our room was themed after a doctor that created the modern hospital. In it, was a marvelous (and kinda creepy) life sized metal skeleton artwork. The shower area opened to a private patio where we ate the delicious included breakfast. And the highlight was the trick bed, that hid the nightstand, safe, coffee bar, refrigerator, and 55” tv. Overall great location, amazing and friendly staff, and very good recommendations for food and our boat tour. It’s about a block from a street trolley station which took us conveniently in the two directions we always wanted to go. Stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout the years, this is top 5 because it’s so weirdly awesome.
