Laos Golf Vacations

Palais Juliana is a bit faraway from the city center. More a business than a vacation place. The hotel could use some renovation. Limited dining services. Transfer included from and to the airport is convenient, as well as the possibility of a free shuttle around Luang Prabang.

This is a lovely oasis conveniently located. The staff were exceptional and offered a shuttle service including drop off and pickup anywhere within the city.

This property is outstanding in every way! The location was on the Mekong River. A beautiful location to enjoy from your patio or terrace. The room is clean, comfortable, unique and roomy. The staff are awesome! Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. They all were there to make my stay the most enjoyable and memorable time in Luang Prabang. The front desk staff helped me with many things. They secured train tickets, private tour drivers, taxi and similar services needed during my stay. The restaurant, wow! It oversees the Mekong River with a beautiful view! I feel best in Luang Prabang. The restaurant staff are amazing! The breakfast and dinner menu was so delicious (sap lai). Whether you are wanting Asian or western food. All is delicious! This property is a must for staying in Luang Prabang. I enjoyed it so much. I extended my stay TWICE!!! For a total of 13 nights! If I were to return to Luang Prabang, I would definitely want to stay here again!

Great hotel with outstanding service!

Staff was excellent and was trying to do their best even though the whole hotel is worn out and clearly no money going into renovations. Toilet didn't flush, cable didn't work on arrival, board walk was old and boards loose. Lighting in bathroom was dark. Led light from air conditioner panel shines right in your face at night. Limited food service to room. No food panda service. Poor staff seemed to be sad about the lack of funding and up keep. This hotel is just being used by large Chinese tour groups that sleep only here and use Chinese facilities elsewhere to eat and do events. Clearly management doesn't want to invest in the grounds and facilities. The staff was excellent especially Toto. I hope management helps them and invests in them and up keep.

Nice clean room and staff were friendly and helpful, close to market area and walking distance to the river.
