Room was in average condition, and very warm. AC units struggled to keep it cool and it was only spring.Apartment needs to be updated as it looks aged. Beds were comfortable. Sitting room furniture is very outdated and so is the large window in the master bedroom that looks into the bathroom. Location is good with food and shopping within a 10-15 minute walk.

The resort was amazing and gives an ultra luxury feeling and setting. We were a large family and each one of us had wonderful things to do at the best level - from the fitness club to the unique huge pool. The hotel’s restaurants were truly awesome. We ate at the Italian and Indian and highly recommend them for the experience and excellent food

This was our second time at Banyan Tree, From Staff, to Villas to Kids Club to the facilities there is hard to beat the standards set by the Banyan Tree Phuket team. Selection of food at Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Thank you for a warm welcome and we will look forward to be back at Banyan Tree in future.

An Exceptional and Unforgettable Stay Our stay at The Datai Langkawi was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Malaysia. The breathtaking rainforest setting, beautiful beach, excellent dining and wonderful spa are all remarkable, but what truly distinguishes The Datai is the extraordinary level of hospitality. We are especially grateful to the General Manager, whose personal attention, generosity and genuine care made our stay incredibly special. Taking the time to meet with us personally and ensuring that we felt truly welcomed and valued reflected an exceptional level of hospitality and leadership. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the management team and the wonderful team members at the Nature Centre and Spa. Their warmth, professionalism and thoughtful attention added greatly to our experience. Our thanks extend to everyone we encountered, including housekeeping, concierge, restaurants, transportation, spa and activity teams. Throughout our stay, we consistently experienced kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality. We arrived expecting a beautiful luxury resort, but left with wonderful memories and genuine affection for The Datai and its people. It is a truly special place, and we sincerely hope to return.
