The staff in the hotel were lovely and kindly helped us take our suitcases up the stairs to our room. They provided us with a delicious papaya welcome drink and the room was filled with all the usual amenities which was appreciated. We would liked to have ordered food and drinks, as well as using the spa but the phone in room 101 did not work. We had a long day of travelling so didn't bother walking down to reception. We attempted to contact them via email and WhatsApp but no response received. To note, the staff were lovely in person and the communication prior to the stay was fantastic and we appreciated the complomentary airport transfer..

The hallmark of the hotel is the staff. Amazing friendliness, very accommodative and made us feel very much at home. Hotel overall was convenient and did justice to our stay. Check in was delayed for at least 45 minutes. It didn’t appear to be busy at the reception. Restaurant: Dinner was quite good with a well planned menu. Much variety and on point when it came to taste. Desserts could be better as seemed to be in the same spectrum. Breakfast could have been better on quality. Rooms were good sized, beds with average comfort. TV remote did not work but didn't really use it. Bathroom was well equipped. Showers with good pressure and wonderful hot water. Could have better utility for hanging towels and hooks for cloth storage. Would like to come back and enjoy the hospitality again.

Location was perfect and staff were very good

This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! First time I have tried king coconut (Local says Tambili) is yummy more sweeter than coconut water. From check in to check out , they maintain personal care , hospitality. I love Authentic srilankan spicy food. Room was beautiful and I like their artworks . Rustic finish furniture look greats. I would say it was more than value for money for me .
