Old style hotel, small rooms and even smaller bathroom, thin walls, neighbours on balcony smoking which fills room with smoke. No Aircon so you have to have window open. Attention to detail in room was very poor - light shade falling apart and fill of dead flies. Towels thin and grey. Breakfast however was very good. They are very busy with e-bike groups so I guess they won't worry too much about poor reviews....

Unfortunately we did not dine at the nicely set up white-linen Restaurant except breakfast. We were unaware (or did not read the fine prints) that we should have called ahead if we are arriving after 6 PM on the first night of check-in. We arrived late due to late start from Frankfurt. But the owners were kind enough to check us in. The only major draw back...

"The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant at the property is really good. As a solo traveller, the room was perfect size. My only complaint is that the property is pretty old and you can easily hear people walking in the hallway, talking, people around you turning on hairdryers, etc. so be aware if you are sensitive to noise. The stay was great otherwise and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff!"

(We had to park 10 min walk away in another property's garden) A tad expensive for what it is, but you do get a good breakfast, and access to the pool which is a bonus. The property looks like its been recently modernised, however i was surprised to find there was no AC in the room and the most useless TV remote i have ever encountered."
