Staff were fantastic, dinner was very good with breakfast plenty of choice.

Older style property which was disappointing

The location is amazing: right on the beach, easy walk into Surfers shops and eateries, free onsite parking, really well set up with three bedrooms, full kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer, two bathrooms and heaps of room to spread out a bit.

The room itself was comfortable and well-presented, but the lack of complementary amenities beyond basic tea and coffee was disappointing compared to other hotels in the same category. Unfortunately, the most negative part of our stay was the service — several staff members were noticeably rude, which really affected our experience and has made us hesitant to stay at another QT property in the future.

Room big enough, sea view is excellent, but cooking pan (black one) which coating little bit damaged, not good to use

Stayed at Sofitel Gold Coast and overall had a great experience. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Broadbeach with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and entertainment just steps outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel offers nice amenities that add to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Everything felt well-maintained and up to the Sofitel standard. The only downside is parking. There’s no complimentary customer parking, and guests are required to pay hefty parking fees to use the hotel parking, which is disappointing considering the premium price point. Aside from parking, it’s a solid stay and a great choice for the Gold Coast.
