The rooms were very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is super close to the main station. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold food, and having free tea and coffee at reception was a lovely touch.

The hotel overall and the staff is very good HOWEVER we were disappointed to learn that the beach area, which is portrayed on the pics, is not for the hotel guests. It is a private beach charging fees to anyone who walks in even though they do not stay at the hotel. They did not have dedicated sunbeds for hotel guests. We went there and the fee was on average 10 Euros more than the other beach clubs on the promenade. Moreover, they had no space available, as I mentioned they have no priority for hotel guests. It was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel; now you know that you can book any hotel and go to any beach club you like just like anyone esle, no priority for choosing Radisson Blu

It is very clean, the staff was very very friendly and helpful. It is around 30 minutes walk from old nice and the beach . Highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Albert 1er Hotel! The location is perfect—just a short, easy walk into Old Nice while still being close to the beach. Our room had an amazing view that made every morning and evening special. The A/C didn’t get as cold as we’re used to, but that’s something we’ve found to be pretty common when traveling in Europe, especially during a summer heat wave, so it certainly didn’t take away from our experience. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was comfortable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We’ll definitely be back!
