Central Hungary Beach Vacations

I was booked in for 5 nights at Hotel Rum. When I went to the room, the lock to the door was damaged (but at least functional), which for the cost was a very poor look. When I checked out the room, the blankets on the bed were dirty, with stains that looked disturbing. I requested that they be replaced by clean ones and the young lady at reception was helpful in arranging for that, However, when that had occurred, hair was then left in the bed by whoever serviced the room. I immediately left and had to find suitable accomodation elsewhere in Budapest.

What a beautiful hotel! Indeed a palace... and breakfast was one of the best.

Everything was just right, a pleasant clean well located with an amazing welcoming stuff

The room was very clean, though a bit small; the staff members were amazingly helpful; breakfast was excellent - both plentiful and tasty.

The hotel itself was very clean with a great exercise room to use. The location in the area was awesome. Very close to everything. Totally enjoyed my stay there.

This was a delightful hotel and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood that was still easily accessible to anything we wanted to see in Budapest.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. The 24-hour coffee/tea bar is a great bonus. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. The hotel is in a great location—within walking distance to the most famous sights and museums. I would definitely stay at the Ikonic in the future.

Fabulous stay for 4 nights in this gorgeous hotel. Room had a beautiful balcony with excellent air conditioning in very warm temperates in Budapest. Location is perfect and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and wine/cheese in the afternoon a particular favourite. Rooftop bar also a highlight. Would highly recommend the hotel for any future stays in this beautiful city.
