When I arrived to my room the safe wasn’t working. Even though I reported it, I was told an engineer was coming the following day by Alex. No one turned up After waiting around all day and wasn’t even booked in when I spoke to the manager. Only when I escalated it to Hotels.com did the manager change the batteries and tell my husband how to override the safe as a button was missing. The breakfast is not as shown on the pictures and these need updating, There is an even a charge for cereal, you get the same thing everyday, bought out to you, no choice of what you wait, it was wasteful. Other guests have also reported safe issues. Shame as it’s a lovely location and I had recommended it to a few people but since this escalated they too have been put off. It’s a shame that the hotel couldn’t admit their mistake and resolve the matter professionally. There are lots of beautiful places nearby, and ones that give you the basics like cereal for free with breakfast and a working safe without all the hassle I had to endure on my holiday.

The Grand Ambassador Santorini Hotel had the best views on the island! The staff even upgraded our room at no cost due to some maintenance issues with our original room. My Wife and I received world class customer service from the staff! We will definitely be visiting Santorini, Greece again in the future! The view was great but anything else was subpar. The room was small. The bathroom was very small and the shower had mold in several places. The hotel is at the old town and the taxi cannot reach it so be prepared to walk with your suitcases. At night it was very loud until 3am with music from the surrounding bars. The staff was polite and helpful.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel, beautiful room and all the staff are a credit to the hotel. The service provided by the hotel is second to none and if you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Severe health and hygiene issues - confirmed bedbugs. We experienced a severe hygiene issue during our stay at this property. Within the first 48 hours, my husband began developing severe bite marks. We notified the front desk immediately to request a deep clean and fresh bedding, but the issue was dismissed as local outdoor bug bites. Despite thoroughly checking the room initially and finding nothing, we later discovered a dead bedbug under the covers. We have photographic documentation of both the insect and the daily bite patterns. Other guests have noted similar experiences in past reviews. Travelers should exercise caution when booking this location.

Great location, nice building, super comfortable bed. Only downside was no completely breakfast.
