"We stayed at Doubletree in Fiji on a 2 day stopover from Japan. The property and pool was fantastic. What dissapointed us was that we flew in at 4am, and having paid for the night before expected to check into our room straight away to be able to rest with two kids after a flight(we emailed twice to check). Unfortunately arriving at the hotel just before 6am, they couldnt check us into our room and the front desk suggested we just go to breakfast to wait while they sorted it out. At around 8am...

"Some days the towel hut ran out of towels. Every day the restaurants were fully booked so you were relegated to back rooms. Many instances of disrepair across the resort.
We stayed at two other resorts around Fiji and even the “Bula” from the staff were less emotive at the Warwick. Everything else met expectations but things like not having towels and not being able to be seated for dinner are not acceptable."

"Definitely in need of some modern updates. Bedding, quality of the mattress and access to hot water were areas in need of improvement. Not having WiFi access in rooms, a TV or even a phone to connect with the front desk are issues as well. Food quality and service at the restaurant isn’t great. AC had issues too. Bed bugs possibly."
