Property conveniently located within walking diatance from trams. Needs more TLC within the units. Went with another couple and couldnt get AC to work, and shower drains were backed up overflowing in both rooms. Can be better if maintenance is improved.

The hotel was in a good location, very close from sub-way. The staff that we saw was very friendly. our only complicate was too much automation without assistance.

The employees were great! So polite and friendly. Breakfast was really good. Walkable area with many restaurants and shops nearby. Open bar was great. The only complaint I had was the room and bathroom were in need of a good cleaning. The house keeping service I give 2 stars.

Our room was enormous, beautifully kept, and full of character. The location was unbeatable—perfectly placed to enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer. What really made the stay unforgettable was the service. It felt like stepping back in time to when hospitality meant something special. The staff were available 24/7, arranging taxis, anticipating needs, and treating us with the kind of old-school attentiveness you’d expect from a personal butler. Their warmth and professionalism elevated the entire trip. The hotel’s amenities were just as impressive—the comfortable bed, a luxurious tub, the pool, and all the little details that made it easy to balance both business and leisure. I even had local friends visit, and they were equally impressed with the beauty and history of the building. I have no complaints—only gratitude. The Grand Hotel added an unforgettable touch of elegance and charm to my Amsterdam experience.
