The hotel itself is in a wonderful location, central to everything. What sets it apart from other hotels is the wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were friends rather than guests. Everyone was courteous and happy to help with any requirements we may have had. If we’re ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here to see our old friends.

Great location , near beach, beach promenade , shops and restaurants

Great hotel. Staff at front desk was very helpful and gave us good recommendations on sightseeing. Located right next to metro station which made it easy to get into the old town quickly. Buffet breakfast is ok . There is a bakery next door with fresh breads and sandwiches.

All of the staff is very friendly, helpful, attentive and welcoming. The daily breakfast is delicious (buffet including fruit, pastries, etc., as well as hot drinks and food made to order) and the rooftop bar has wonderful small plates and drinks. The room is clean and comfortable, and came with a bottle of Port and chocolates. The location is in a great area with plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great for us - a grocery store is a short walk and we loved walking down to the river for restaurants/cafes. The rooftop pool was great, although very cold! The breakfast was amazing, and had options for me to have a few pastries despite being gf. I wish they did change up their eggs though, it was processed scrambled eggs every day. One problem was the walls of our room were very disgusting upon checkin, but they did come clean them when I complained. Another problem was that we had picked this hotel for its hot tub which we needed after our race and it turned out to be a very luke-warm tub. Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would go back.
