Me and my partners spent 4 nights here and we love it. The room is clean and good service and love the free breakfast. The only thing I not really happy is the laundry is a little too expensive.

Restaurant was poor and expensive. I recommend taking a short walk into town for a better meal at half the price. The regular prices were high enough then they add 20% 😝

Prifrssional service and hotel room is great. Would stay again in the future.

Beautiful property - good breakfast and friendly staff.

Comparing same price range and hotel class, the rooms are much smaller in size, the lighting in poor (entrance and walkway to bathroom is dark), the entrance is very large and spacious but only 1 sofa for guests to sit / wait, the staff doesn’t greet guests as they walk in, the cleaning staff still comes in to clean your room even with the do not disturb sign on. Overall there are better same class hotel with better customer service, larger rooms and better overall value for your money.

Very large hotel, staff are mostly pleasant. Average maintenance. Breakfast has options, although does not change much over the course of a week. The egg stand at the breakfast serves cold, half-cooked, pre-made omelettes, although the chef was very busy on his phone, for both days I waited there, and could not attend to my request to heat one up. Food at bar is pricy and overly sauced and sweetened. The place could be better cleaned, as I spotted a couple of 6-leg critters in my room and the canteen. Pool was closed during my stay. No speed bumps at the car drop-off area in front of the lobby, and cars race through, so mind when you cross that bridge. Rooms are not very well insulated from noise of adjacent rooms. Mosquitos in the room are a problem, and the tiny incense only seems to make them more hungry. The low cost and river view perhaps is a consolation.

We love this hotel. This hotel used to be the house of the last king and queen of the Kingdom Laos. We were greeted directly at the Luang Prabang Train Station by the hotel's complimentary shuttle, a thoughtful and welcoming gesture ;) The location was beautiful right by the Mekong River. The location was in the heart of everything and we walked pretty much every where. The view from our room was beautiful and we certainly enjoyed it. The grounds were immaculate and very well taken care of. The service was amazing and at the reception -receptionist India was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast included with Laotian food and fresh fruit, eggs, baguette, jam, meats, coffee/tea. If you’re a coffee lover , there are some great coffee shops on the river and Main Street a couple of minutes away. The rooms are quite big, clean, and have nice balconies.Very comfy bed! I can confidently say that this one offers the best value for your money. The rustic balcony provides a charming view of the Mekong River and incredibly quiet. Hotel staff are extremely polite and professional and always greet you with a warm smile. From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff, everyone was so welcoming. I'd highly recommend Victoria Xiengthong Palace hotel for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and excellent service. A great choice for a relaxing stay in Luang Prabang! This hotel truly deserves 5 stars!

Room clean, shower hot and full working air conditioning. Coffee and a kettle and good working fridge as I have meds that need to be kept cool. Breakfast buffet cover all bases, both local and western food.

This is my fifth visit here. It’s a charming boutique hotel with a nice pool and fantastic staff. There’s a small restaurant across the street, also close to the historic district and its morning and night markets.
