Clean rooms but very smelly, cigarettes, toilette,

The room was nice, a little out dated but clean. We got a partial sea view which was lovely. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and had some cook to order food items. The bar had a happy hour. However there was only one beer included in the offer, which was more expensive beer, Carlsburg Elephant. During our stay, there was a film being filmed on the roof terrace, where the pool was. We were not told about this, and our room was right below, so every night (6 nights) you could hear banging, people walking and loud music, sometimes into the early hours. We did not want to move as we had a lovey view. When we went to the pool the whole area had not been cleaned up from the film shoot, there was something in the jacuzzi so could not use that all week, there were no sun loungers so had to get some chairs to put by the pool, and no towels, so had to ask for these to be brought up. Not the service you expect. We were paying customers so expected to be able to use all facilities, and was disappointed that the pool and terrace area was not fully available to its guests. We chose the hotel for the pool and terrace where we could have a meal on, Having a film shoot on the roof spoilt our first experience in India,

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. The facilities, especially the gym and swimming pool, were clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again.

Love staying at this hotel although I only had 1 night this time around my stay was fabulous. I had an early morning flight and arrived in Mumbai at 10am the hotel were amazing and accommodated to have my rooms ready for when we arrived around at 10:45am. Food at the hotel was amazing as usual and we also managed to enjoy the sun set with a few drinks before dinner at the Italian restaurant at the hotel. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was anything but amazing. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay on Marine Drive.

The Lalit Mumbai is a clean and modern style hotel. Great location near the Mumbai International airport. The hotel has nicely appointed rooms decorated with wood accents. I had booked an Executive King Club room. The access to the executive lounge on the 6th floor made my 6 day stay at the hotel quite comfortable. The lounge serves breakfast in the morning, high tea in the afternoon, and drinks and appetizers in the evening. The staff at the hotel was quite helpful and courteous. I especially appreciated the 2 guys that work the executive lounge. They provided quick service everyday.
