We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Excelsior. This was our first time in Venice and the first stay of our honeymoon and it was a great experience! We enjoyed using the provided boat taxi to and from Venice, along with the private beach access and dining options at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was also great. We would recommend this stay for a trip to Venice!

Outstanding service and attention to detail from the staff. All staff including the breakfast employees were extremely patient and helpful. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and received a nice bottle of Prosecco on ice with a happy birthday balloon. She loved it!
I have two minor things I’m nitpicking. 1.) I would appreciate a smart TV with modern streaming apps. 2.) The shower set up was a bit odd. The tub had a half glass door that leaked water during showers.
Not a deal breaker for us and overall happy with our stay here, will definitely come back.

Lovely hotel right on the canal that gives you the perfect ultimate Venice experience. Rooms are somewhat basic but neat and tidy with amenities. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful and helped organize some fun tours for us during our stay

Fantastic location with its own dock for private taxis. Best breakfast, that was included in our rate. Also provided a free private taxi to Murano glass factory and gallery. We would stay there again!
