9.4/10 Exceptional! (981 reviews)
Stayed for one night in Amsterdam and wish we could’ve stayed longer at the Met! Beautiful property and the room was stylish and well appointed. Soft bed, great shower and the automatic lighting was a nice touch. It’s not in the middle of Amsterdam but very accessible to the tram. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Well done guys and look forward to staying again. 5 stars!

Overall we had a nice stay. Unfortunately we were late getting into our room as it wasn't ready. This impacted the first day. The coffee machine in the room did not work, and the one chair other than the dressing table one had 2 feet missing off it so it was difficult to sit on. This was a bit of an issue as there were three of us and so the sofa was made up as a bed. I reported both the next morning before breakfast and was told it would be looked at. The next day, neither had been fixed so I went back to reception. I was assured that this would be remedied that day. Unfortunately for all three mornings that we were there, neither the chair was functional nor the coffee machine working. I do not think this was acceptable and said this as we checked out. The breakfast was lovely and the location was a little far out from the centre but it felt safe. It was easy to get taxis and we had a great time in the city itself.

3.5 ⭐️I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Beautiful architecture and nice staff but felt we paid way too much for so few amenities available. Stayed for 3 nights in May. Location was convenient to the train station. The building is gorgeous…a little bit of a strange layout, but it has such amazing design elements. Our room was cute and had a great view of the canal, but it wasn’t getting cool enough in the heatwave that was occurring. The staff offered to move us to a different room, and it was much cooler. The staff were all so pleasant, except for one person who berated my husband for trying to go to breakfast. He was unaware that I hadn’t purchased the breakfast option, and felt they made a un unnecessary scene about it. I had big issue with the amenities…or lack there of. WiFi was pretty much nonexistent. I figured I would just go use the “business center”, however I couldn’t find it and none of the staff I asked had any idea about one. There were no USB outlets in the room to charge devices. I did not buy an outlet adapter prior to the trip because the front desk was supposed to have them (as stated in their hotel info), but they were out. They did offer to charge my phone in a back office. Finally on the next to last day of our stay, I was able to get to a place to purchase my own outlet adapter. The other huge disappointment, was when we went to use the pool only to discover that it, along with the hot tub and steam room, were “out of order.”
