I stayed at Grand Hôtel Bristol for one night and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Colmar train station, which was so convenient after a long day of travel.
The lobby had a warm, charming feel, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially at reception. My room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, even though the building itself is older, which actually adds character.
The room didn’t have a view (it faced the back buildings), but I didn’t mind because it was quiet and relaxing. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the Old Town, but I really enjoyed the walk — Colmar is a beautiful city.
Highly recommend this hotel for both convenience and comfort.

Really nice hotel, great location. Room was small but extremely clean and nice, especially for Europe. I would stay there again. Only thing I could mention, tech a bit off. The QR codes didn’t work well, chrome cast advertised but not working and I like my evening tv. Otherwise, superb.
