Front desk staff were not very friendly when I asked to check in early (keep in mind I was emailed asking if I wanted to pay a fee to check in at 10am, and arrived to the property about 11am).
The room was nice but signs of wear and tear; including stains on the carpet, curtains, and bed. I have stayed at nicer 4 star hotels. Would probably find another hotel if I returned to Frankfurt.

Better navigate to your destinations carefully, toward Frankfurt Hbf, some streets and alleys are not pleasant. The Old Town excursion should be throughly mapped out before going. Otherewise you unintentionally end up going through some unpleasant experiences.

Please AVOID their airport shuttle. The hotel staff push it as an add on during check in, and offer the "simple" of prepayment option. Cost is listed as 6 Euros; but costs 9 Euros per person - they do not mention the added fees. They also do not tell you that the shuttle stops at the road and not in the hotel foyer. And that the shuttle is a hit and miss (we missed it even though we were at the outside, in the rain, at that time!). And the prepaid tickets are not refundable - even though they had these red "event" tickets in a box and could have easily returned them! Uber to the airport: 12 Euros; taxi: 23 Euros - we took both options. So, avoid the shuttle!
Restaurant staff and food: excellent!
