We really loved our stay at The Sands. The staff were fabulous, the hotel was immaculate and it was all really well thought-out with everything you could need in one place. We would definitely come back to The Sands. The only area that could possibly be improved was the breakfast. Sometimes food - particularly fruit and yoghurt was left uncovered, which attracted flies and put me off eating there.

Beautiful place I lived my room and the bed was fantastic. Just wish I’d picked a better time of the year to go the beach was not safe. That’s not the hotel’s fault of course. Would come back when it’s better weather for sure.

We had such a great stay at Chongfah Beach Resort in Khao Lak. It’s a real boutique spot—super peaceful, really well kept, and just ideal if you want to switch off and relax. One of the things we liked most was how calm and quiet everything was. No noise, no crowds, just a really chilled, peaceful vibe the whole time. The gardens are gorgeous and clearly very well looked after, giving the whole place a lush tropical oasis feel. The resort also has its own private beach, which was clean, beautiful, and never busy. It was perfect for watching the sunset, or just sitting back and listening to the waves. We also had a really good experience at Seaborn Restaurant. The food was consistently good, but what really stood out was the service.

The place was nice, cool pool and lounging area, nice restaurant and breakfast was good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The standard room I had was fairly basic and needed some updating, but okay. Location was fine, only 10 minutes walk to the beach, although you have to cross the main road to get to the main street that goes down to the beach, which has lots of bars massage places and shops on.
