Service was wonderful. Not desire unfulfilled.

On a positive: check in was relatively fast and accommodating, beautiful views of the ocean. On the other hand, room furniture was old, room was consistently not made up until early evening hours, phone calls for hotel services were not answered for up to 10 minutes, daily parking fees were unreasonably high.

My only issue was that I did not receive the discounted rates that LXR offered because I made my reservations through Expedia. I feel Expedia should be more transparent or at least or the same discounts as the hotel does.

Emma at the front desk was wonderful. She is friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The property is so beautiful and tranquil plus the accommodations are elegant and comfortable. Food was excellent as well

Rooms were clean and well kept. Parking was through valet service which was excellent. Great location and easy in and out.

The hotel seems not aging well:( half the power outlet don’t work. The auto curtain remote is the most confusing thing I have ever seen. It basically requires a lot of coding to raise or put down the curtain as we wanted. And one elevator out of three has been out of order the whole time we stayed there. We expected better conditions from our previous stays.

So glad I found this place! We are Universal pass holders and the shuttle to the park is a major plus!

Wonderful facility in the heart of DTLA with quirky fitness facilities (e.g. indoor banked running track).

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Pool was not heated and very cold. No hot tub. Rooms and tile hallways need some maintenance updates.
