São Francisco Xavier Waterpark Vacations

The apartment was very clean, quite and in a nice neighborhood right across from the Parliament building. I stayed for 10 days and was brought fresh towels. I could have had someone clean my apartment, but I cleaned it myself. The front office staff is super nice and very helpful. I highly recommend staying at this location.

The hotel is just OK. I won't call it a 5-star hotel. 3.5-star would be more appropriate.

Overall was a wonderful experience, except minor issues. The hotel breakfast is spectacular, the sauna and steam room is perfect after a rainy chill day, the hotel staff is very friendly, and the inside museum tour is quite informative and fun (our guid is very knowledgeable, we think she is an archeologist). We enjoyed the internal museum tour very much! Minor issue we faced are: *the shower in room was somewhat broken (temperature control nob was missing). I realized it at the 2nd night, told hotel receptionist 3rd day morning, and it was not fixed when I came back at night, so I had to phone receptionist multiple times at night for them to send someone to fix it. It took less than 5min for the fix (just needed to put back a nob so I can turn the temperature control lol) *In room request only dial to hotel front desk, which most of time only have 1 person, and very often is doing something else (like answering booking phone call or servicing another client/checkin/checkout), so it was a bit frustrating not able to get to anyone when you seriously need something. (I was ready to just robe up and walk to reception half way in my shower to request the shower fix, cause it was just too cold😭). If you only need a 2min rinse, that water temperature was fine 😂 *last but not least, the hotel bar is tiny and has no clear price/menu…. the bartender needs to be requested when you want a drink, and most of time doesn’t speak english 😂

The breakfast, like the smoked salmon, ir scrambled eggs, or sussage could be more fresh

Very nice room in a historic hotel. The oldest hotel on the Iberian Peninsula. Great location with available self parking and next to town. Nice restaurant and breakfast.
