Great location with an incredible view of the Parliament. Easily walkable to all the main attractions. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, couldn't have a more central location for sightseeing, a block from the Stephansplatz (our room had a view of the main entrance side of the Stephansdom). Despite being smack dab in the middle of a hectic tourist part of town, it was pretty quiet. Admittedly, the the reception lounge and the rooms are a bit frilly (with their theme of Leopold I's court), but I thought the decor was so fun--artwork all over the walls. All of the staff was so charming, reception, the servers for breakfast and other hotel staff. We included breakfast with our room, and although it is a la carte, the selections won't leave anybody lacking for choice. Excellent fresh choices. The "ceiling" of the breakfast room is a tent-like structure that they retract when the weather is fair, for semi-open air seating. The hotel seemed to be recently renovated, including an elevator, and the room had plenty of outlets, much appreciated air conditioning, a safe, a fridge (with complementary beverages), blackout curtains, and so so many mirrors in the room! We had a Grand Deluxe Double Room, and the bedroom/sitting area and bathroom were sizeable and comfortable. We used the laundry service and everything came back the same afternoon. On the whole, we really liked everything about The Leo Grand, and would definitely recommend it and return myself.

I think it is overpriced for the tiny bedroom lacking even one chair. The restaurant is very expensive- 360 euros for a meal for 4 people.

Overall, the hotel is quite good, but the rooms are starting to feel a bit outdated and could use renovation. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, which really improves the overall experience. However, dining at the bar was quite disappointing. It was almost impossible to enjoy a proper meal there, and it felt like frozen, low-quality food was simply being reheated.

Lovely hotel in super location. Short walk from airport bus and from metro stations. Breakfast very good. Afternoon wine & cheese very much appreciated. Lovely Hungarian wines. Honey with cheese was a great idea. Great live music during this time too. Some movies are chargeable, some free.

Nice historical hotel with nice large rooms. This hotel has the ability to be a 5 star but just missed the mark. Poor evening dining experience, and the bar and bar help needs improvement. The breakfast is very good in a gorgeous ballroom, previously Queen Elizabeth “Sisi” of Hungary“ “Sisi’s Ballroom”. Here it is they have this historic palace where the Empress of Austria lived but yet chooses to put evening dining in a bar off the reception with poor wait staff and dining settings, when they have the ability to make a Michelin Star restaurant in “Sisi’s Restaurant” where they hold breakfast every morning. Otherwise, this hotel has wonderful rooms, in a great location, nice area of town, and somewhat close to grocery and other restaurants. It was a very good stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Clean room, professional staff, great sauna

Very clean hotel and rooms, excellent shower, ok breakfast some staff very good (the restaurant manager was supper) others ok. We had an issue with hot water during our stay.
