Central location however located on a cobblestone pedestrian only street. You'll have to get your luggage there, approximately 2 minute walk from your drop off point. Hotel is located on a major square surrounded with restaurants, While convenient one of the restaurants directly across the street has musical entertainment until very late at night. If you have a front room with a square view, it can be very annoying around midnight, Breakfast is confusing at first wth no one to explain the system. It looks like a normal cold buffet but once you sit at a table you find they offer cooked to order eggs and coffee. Many staff are sullen but try to help. Throughout the hotel you'l find a very mixed personality among staff members. A few smile and are pleasant, while many others have a stern "soviet" style personality. Don't expect warm and fuzzy from most. I think there are better choices in Riga.

I loved my little room here. It was spotless and very modern with AC. The bed was comfortable, the mini kitchen was handy to have and the mini washing machine right in the bathroom was a huge bonus. The location was quiet and a convenient walk from the bus station and within a 15 min walk to old town. The location seemed to be on the edge of an area that seemed just a touch sketchy as it got later in the evening but as a solo female traveller perhaps I’m being a bit paranoid. All in all, I really liked this hotel and would recommend it.
