Loved everything about the property. So beautiful!

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

All rooms were clean when I checked in. The staff was very helpful since it was my first time to stay in a residential area in China, and had a lot of questions, ie how to open the door, how to use the washing machine, etc. The staff answered my questions within a minute.

The bedroom lights should be better improvised as it really hurt our eyes laying in bed, it shines directly onto the eyes . In my opinion it should be shined on the walls to create textures and a good ambience. Overall , it’s good just that we had bad experience with the lighting and hope it can be improved by their execellent team.

Incredible in all the ways

Great apartment size for a group visit. The living allows for chatting and it also has a coffee lounge downstairs for use (free). Swimming and steam room are great for a chill out too. Staff is great, very attentive and quick response with request.

Morning buffet was good and convenient. Location is easy for the 2 metro line. Rooms were a very good size and beds are comfortable. Very friendly staff and will stay again

Had some problems checking in but the staff were super friendly, spoke english and was just reassuring through the stay. Only issue was the smoke smell around the halls for those in dorms but it goes away once in the capsule.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Dayin. From the second we walked in, we were happily greeted by Wei and Wu at reception - they were really kind and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we arrived. The friendly cleaning staff do a great job. Our room was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and facilities were good. The lounge area of this hostel is nice too. Location was perfect and close to sights and public transport. I would stay here again without hesitation! Highly recommend!

Property said there were three beds in the one room, but there was two beds in one room and then a separate bed in the room next door. The facilities were clean, modern and had great air conditioning. The location is a little out of the old city or shopping district or Bund, but we took a taxi to all very cheaply. There is also public transportation nearby.
