Pillows too tiny

Lovely old home converted into a home away from home. Don't expect all the latest mod-cons but the basics are there. Large rooms, nice bathrooms and a well stocked shared kitchen. Aachen House would be wonderful for larger groups or families looking to stay together. Surprisingly quiet for a large home with lots of comings and goings, we look forward to visiting again at some point in the future!!

A grand hotel with a spectacular foyer . Friendly staff . Whether a coffee and chat , a late night drink or breakfast in the morning , all the facilities were welcoming and well positioned in the lobby area. Enjoyed the short stay Cheers

We stayed here for a few days in Auckland before heading off on a family trip with the kids, and it was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Newmarket shopping centre is only about a 5-minute walk away, which made shopping, dining, and finding things to do with the kids really easy. Having on-site parking was also a big plus, as we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking space. The apartment was quiet with good soundproofing, and the heating worked really well, so we stayed warm and cosy even during the cold winter weather. Having both a washing machine and dryer was especially useful when travelling with children. Overall, the place was clean and well equipped with pretty much everything we needed. Shampoo is provided, but there is no conditioner, so it’s worth bringing your own if you need it. Very happy with our stay and great value for the price. Would definitely recommend it for families looking for a convenient place to stay in Auckland.

Excellent location and easy to access. Comfortable and clean beds, light and airy rooms and living spaces. Hope to stay again.
